ABOUT krista
Krista torseth PT, DPT
Specialist in Aquatic Physical Therapy

Krista graduated with a doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Puget Sound.  With an interest in pediatrics, Krista has extensive experience with infants, children, and adolescents with orthopedic and neurologic diagnoses. She is passionate about helping each patient reach their full potential—maximizing their strength and balance; finding equipment that will support their independence, mobility, and safety; and promoting participation in adaptive recreation opportunities.

Krista joined Wave Therapies in 2009 and has earned her Certificate of Aquatic Physical Therapy from the American Physical Therapy Association. She likes working in the pool because her patients can move more freely with the support and warmth the water provides. She also enjoys supporting families and their children figure out how to effectively navigate their daily environments. More than anything, she loves showing kids that they are much stronger and more capable than they, or their parents, could have imagined.

In her spare time, Krista spends her time cycling, trail running, reading, and playing in the lake with her kids. She also loves to attend OL Reign soccer matches.
